Once again, life has gotten the best of us and our little blog has suffered!!! But things have been just as busy as always. Here is a rundown of things that have happened since our last post:
1. On October 12, my coworker Kristin got married at Marsh Chapel (where Nick and I got married). It was a beautiful fall day and the wedding was lovely. The whole BUCCI gang was there and we had a blast.
2. Halloween with the Tatarkas: Following my students' Halloween potluck at school, Nick and I had some friends over for a little Halloween party. As always, our friends did not disappoint with their interesting array of costumes.
3. BU Hockey season got fully underway so many of our Friday or Saturday nights have been spent, front row at Agganis Arena cheering on our boys. Fall and winter would not be the same without BU Hockey!
4. Nick conducted his first concert with the Bay Youth Symphony Orchestra. The youth orchestra, which is associated with the South Shore Conservatory, plays in Duxbury, MA, just a short drive from where we live. While Wednesdays nights had been a bit quiet since Nick didn't get home from rehearsals until 9 or so, it was well worth it. The kids (and Nick) did great!
5. Lastly, we packed up the car, put the dog in her carseat (yes, Sandy has her own carseat), and drove to Ohio for Thanksgiving. It was great spending time with the Tatarka clan for the holiday. While our time in Boardman was short, we were able to see the family, do some shopping, and most importantly...eat at Tokyo House. Tokyo House is this hibachi grill Japanese restaurant that Nick has talked about since we first started dating. Well after almost 6 years, I was finally able to eat there after staking out the first spot in line, almost an HOUR before the place opened. Let me just say, it was totally worth it!
