It's been quite the year!

2008 was quite the year for the Tatarkas! Here's a brief list of what 2008 entailed for us:

• Both turned 24.
• Celebrated our 5 year dating anniversary
• Swam with dolphins and played with penguins at Sea World San Diego for Nikki's birthday
• Nikki celebrated her one year teaching anniversary at the Children's Center
• Nick was hired as the new conductor of the Bay Youth Symphony group at the South Shore Conservatory
• Celebrated our one year wedding anniversary
• Traveled to England and France for our anniversary
• Served as bridesmaid and groomsman in our friends Alex and Kristi's wedding
• 3 road trips to Ohio for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Jon's high school graduation
• Chaperoned our first high school trip when Nick's high school students went to Virginia
• Nikki started her masters' studies in Elementary Education

The blessings we received in 2008 go beyond that small list. We are so thankful for the time we've spent with family and friends this year. And we thank the Lord for the good health and good fortune that He has brought us. Here's to good health, happiness, and love in 2009. We hope the Lord blesses you this year too!
